Third sector and cooperatives

Nonprofit organizations are an important issue also because the nonprofit sector has been growing steadily and has become important in terms of financial weight and employment; the issue entails dealing with complex and evolving regulations (third sector reforms, voluntary work regulations, ONLUS, social endeavours, NGOs, social promotion), and has always been a part of the Firm’s activities.
The Firm provides Master courses on the subject to a number of Italian universities, advanced training with special reference to Milano’s Ordine dei Commercialisti, collaborations with government bodies (Ministry of Welfare, government agency for socially useful nonprofit organizations), research activities with regional bodies, publications, specialized publishing, and institutional consultancy.
Firm members sit on the board of important foundations; the Firm has supplied consultancy and training for a number of associations, trusts and bodies, also religious, as well as helping to obtain legal recognition.
Consultancy also covers the world of sports with a series of bodies devoted to sports promotion, professional and amateur sports associations.
The Firm has worked with cooperatives for a long time, developing a range of assistance and consultancy services with cooperatives of all sizes, especially with those working in social services and the building trade.
Much attention is devoted to extraordinary operations between cooperatives, in particular mergers and provisions.
Professionals working in this field are auditors authorized by Confederazione delle Cooperative Italiane and members of Commissione Centrale per le Cooperative, a body functionally dependent on Ministero delle Attività Produttive, aimed at evaluating legislation projects about the cooperative sector in Italy.
